And that’s a wrap! The full redesign & reno of this two bedroom/two bathroom unit on the 3rd floor of an apartment building in New Farm has been a joyful journey with an amazing client who contacted us to undertake all of the design work and selections of finishes, fittings and fixtures.
There are so many beautiful finishes and design elements featured in this project, from:
- The curved kitchen bench in Polytec Notaio Walnut
- As well as the curved bench top in 30mm Lilly White from Projectstone.
- Another outstanding feature in this kitchen are the gorgeous Ming Green marble mosaic tiles, in a hexagon shape from The Tile Mob Pty Ltd.
- And the stunning curved bulkhead above the kitchen bench frames the whole space perfectly, as well as allowing us to solve the problem of how to move the intercom wires.
With concrete ceiling and floors in the unit, the bulkhead was the perfect solution to not only redirect the intercom wires, but also to anchor the sleek and stylish new down lights from Lighting Illusions .
There is plenty of storage in the new design with the inclusion of the clever blind corner unit from Vauth-Sagel, eliminating that annoying “wasted” space in the back corner of your cabinets. And the subtle curved touch in the two floating shelves pulls the whole design together in Blossom White, also from @polytec.
The beautiful black timber cabinet handles also with a soft curved profile are from Kethy and the few we’ve used on the pantry and front cabinets really just add a touch of continuity between the other black elements in the space.
Keep an eye out for more before and after highlights from New Farm!
