A Look Into Your New Kitchen
As it can be difficult to visualise how your new space will look, 3D renders are offered as part of our design service. Previously I had shown a basic version of 3D renders that I offer of what we call ‘Whitebox’ renders. This is essentially a blank canvas that allows clients to focus on the functional design aspect of their room before we move onto the fun part, choosing colours and fixtures! Finalising the Warner project kitchen design, we have begun to explore how different colours of the cabinetry and benchtops work together along with the fixtures and fittings. Keep scrolling to view the final renders!
A Functional Space
We’re very excited about this upcoming kitchen renovation in Warner, transforming a very dark, traditional kitchen into a light and fresh space.
But the main focus of the brief was to improve the layout, functionality and storage. The placement of the cooking zone in the old kitchen so close to the sink made it awkward and often cramped with the family trying to move around the kitchen.
The footprint has to stay the same on this one, and apart from creating an island bench at the front of the kitchen, we’ve achieved that requirement of the brief.
And with clever cabinetry design there will be a lot more functional and practical storage!
Keep an eye out for the final selections palette! We’re pretty sure this is the one our clients will be approving!
The Benefits of Renders
Offering 3D Renders to my clients is just one part of my process and has been a great way to help clients visualise everything and feel more confident in making decisions in our final selections. We’re still playing around with a few different options, so we’d love to see your comments and feedback!
Deisgn Tip
If you’re thinking about a kitchen renovation, before you start designing anything, have a think about what appliances you want as well as your sink. Once you know the dimensions of those items, you can start to design your cabinetry and bench layouts around them. As fun as it is to choose all the pretty tiles, cabinetry and bench finishes, getting the layout right – both inside and outside of the cabinets – is the first step to creating a kitchen that will be a joy to cook in.
